This Privacy Policy sets out how The Jewelry District, a company organized under the laws of The State of California, and The United States of America, having its address at 412 West Sixth Street, Suite 1006, Los Angeles, California (the “The Jewelry District” and, collectively with The Jewelry District's Sites and Entities, “The Jewelry District” and "Jewelry Leads" (Collectively referenced herein as "The Jewelry District | Jewelry Leads")) collect, use and share information that we obtain as a result of your use of our website at the-jewelry-district.com and jewelryleads.com (collectively with our apps and websites, the “Sites”), our platform to connect visitors with merchants who sell jewelry-related goods and services (the “The Jewelry District Directory/Referral Services”), and our other applications, software, features, tools, and services (all of the foregoing, collectively, the “Services”). As used herein, ‘The Jewelry District | Jewelry Leads’, ‘we,’ and ‘us’ refers to The Jewelry District and/or Jewelry Leads, as applicable. By using or accessing the Services, you confirm that you have received this Privacy Policy and that you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as explained in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access the Services.
The Jewelry District's Services are for logging, tracking, and sharing jewelry-related information, buying and selling jewelry-related products through Los Angeles Downtown Jewelry District jewelers, select adjacent Los Angeles area jewelers, and other United States based businesses that receive referrals from the The Jewelry District | Jewelry Leads, and/or such other Services as we may make available from time to time. To provide these Services we collect, process, use, and store information about you. We do not sell information about our users to others except potential Los Angeles Downtown Jewelry District jewelers and select adjacent Los Angeles area jewelers that may be able to provide a jewelry-related product and/or service. We also share user information only as described below, and between The Jewelry District and Jewelry Leads as well as with any other subsidiaries The Jewelry District controls that either are subject to this Privacy Policy or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Policy.
When you interact with our Services, you may choose to give us information, including personal information, such as: name, middle name, last name, username, password, email address, telephone number, address, birth date, location data, profile photo, country, images of jewelry you may or may not own, links/URLs to jewelry-related products or services, any other account or profile/settings information, any other user generated content that may be personally identifiable, such as photos and videos, any information you send through or post on our services, such as posts and direct messages, and information you volunteer when you contact customer support or communicate with us by phone, email, or otherwise.
You provide information when you participate in discussion boards or other community features, form submissions, MMS/SMS messages, during phone calls and/or via any and all of these aforementioned and ensuing methods mentioned throughout this policy including and not limited to any other jeweler(s)/businesses (including their affiliated phone numbers, emails, and communications within their respective bricks-and-mortar locations) as matched by The Jewelry District, emails to any address with domains the-jewelry-district.com and jewelryleads.com, post content on the Sites, search for a product, place an order through The Jewelry District | Jewelry Leads, compile wish lists or other gift registries on the The Jewelry District | Jewelry Leads, provide and rate reviews, purchase gear, and employ product availability alerts, if and as applicable. You might also provide information about people to whom The Jewelry District's | Jewelry Leads' and Los Angeles Downtown Jewelry District jewelers and select adjacent Los Angeles area jewelers purchases have been shipped, including addresses and phone number, and email addresses of your friends and other people.
When you use our Services, we also collect information about which Services you used and how you used them. Examples of this type of information are:
Usage Information. We collect information about your activity through our Services, such as how you interact with our Services and communicate with other The Jewelry District | Jewelry Leads users, such as their names, the time and date of your communications, the number of messages you exchange with users, which users you exchange messages with the most, internet protocol addresses while accessing our Sites, your interactions with messages (such as when you open a message), access times, pages viewed/content browsed, and pages you visited before or after navigating to our Sites.

Provide and improve search results, including through the use of your precise location information (if you’ve given us permission to collect that information), both on and off our Services.
Enhance the safety and security of our Services.
Verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
Enforce our Terms of Service and other usage policies.
Sharing with Third Parties.
We work closely with businesses that sell offerings to you on or indirectly through The Jewelry District | Jewelry Leads. We provide such sellers with certain personal information they need in order to fulfill their transactions with you, such as name, address, email address, and telephone number. All such sellers are required to comply with this Privacy Policy (or more restrictive terms) and additional restrictions with respect to such information; however they may share such information with companies and individuals that perform functions on their behalf, such as fulfilling orders and delivering packages. If you have an account with one or more of our Sites, it is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared device.
We store profile/account data like name, username, password, email address, telephone number, address, and the content created by you such as posts, photos, and videos (and associated location information), as long as it is necessary for the provision of our services to you. If you decide to stop using The Jewelry District | Jewelry Leads, you can request that we delete your data.
While our systems are designed to carry out our deletion practices automatically, we cannot promise that deletion will occur within a specific timeframe. There may be legal requirements to store your data and we may need to suspend those deletion practices if we receive valid legal process asking us to preserve content or if we receive reports of abuse or other Terms of Service violations.
